oh my friends, thank you for all of your comments on my last post~again days have passed since i even looked at my laptop.

it feels so good to know that friendships and connections exist across mother earth without the need for invasive social networks!

the weather has continued to be glorious...




 however last night thunderstorms rolled in from france and spain, it was too hot to sleep so i lay and listened to the thunder as it rolled over us throughout the night.
as i type the clouds are gathering again for another night of storms.


the part of the forest we often walk flynt has been busy with the animals...

highland cattle have been released after the winter...



new foals appear daily...


crab apple in blossom...


and in our garden...


plants have been added to our fountain...



the rambling rose grows around my nook...



a long promised book...


i was given some money and the bookshop in lymington had a 'three for two' offer so i also bought 'the valley of horses' and 'the mammoth hunters'.
i have to say i am totally enjoying the read.

our vegetables are growing well...
