we had such a wonderful time this weekend~none of us wanted to come home and are already waiting for our next gathering in august.
our chosen campsite was not far from avebury and when we arrived~we were the first~we had the option of where to camp.
well we chose the paddock that was far enough away from the main site to be in splendid isolation and we had this wonderful view across to what was once a hill fort...
from the Friday morning people started to gather and we were all excited to see the bell tent belonging to sujee and bilbo...
friday evening saw the communal barbecue and much messing around with pitta's...
this is four month old izzy belonging to milani and andy~she adored flynt but he was more interested in stealing her squeaky ball
we had live music thanks to bilbo and chappie...
pretty pagan was decked out in lights~our flag is two long medieval looking pennants...
lunchtime saw us all resting our legs...
on the way home we decided to stop at the neolithic silbury hill...
we had also planned on stopping at the west kennet long barrow but there was not enough room to park pretty pagan. also within minutes it started to pour with rain.
so we have decided to return to the campsite for a couple of nights in the next month or so and return to the long barrow during a week day when it is less busy.
some of us took our dowing rods and other took the opportunity to let their crystals absorb some of the stones energies and of course money was spent in the henge shop.

we arrived home yesterday and immediately went to check our garden~it had seemed to grow more jungle like than ever...

well time for tea~tonight is pizza night and i have bought some blue cheese to add to my margarita
