its a good day today
the grey cloud that sat over us when i got out of bed-after laying, listening to the birds start to sing in the still dark dawn-has lifted, leaving this ancient forest covered in a blanket of the brightest blue.
the sunlight is pouring through the large window that looks out over our garden, casting its happy glow over our mantel/alter.
today is the kind of day where the sunshine and the warmth it brings to our sheltered garden helps me forget my aches and pains and feel joy in being able to enjoy it all
