What do your holiday fantasies look like?

Mine have been captured through the lens of photographer

Happy Holiday Season!

Just to say "Thanks for being there" (and because it's the holidays and I love giving presents) I'm giving away an
Alora Ambiance diffuser

The lucky winner will receive FESTA:
"Just in time for the holiday season comes Alora Ambiance's festa, an 8 oz. charmer reminiscent of cozy winter afternoons spent fireside in the chalets of the Dolomites. Much like the signature mulled wines of the region, festa (a limited-edition member of the Alora Ambiance family) will seduce you with a blend of cinnamon and bitter orange so evocative, you'll swear you can actually heard the fire crackling. Festa. The perfect little something to get us all in the spirit."  -Alora Ambiance

Just leave a comment to win; I'll randomly select a winner on December 1.

If you have trouble leaving a comment - send me an email:  pillowmint120@gmail.com

Feelin' a little boho with Tracy Porter

I didn't know she offered rugs:

I like some of her things; love a few; but can leave most of it...especially the home wares/furnishings.
Having never purchased any Tracy Porter, I'm left wondering if it's great or if it's lots of (overpriced) junk.
Does anyone know for sure?

I love all the things I've pictured here --
where is that proverbial rich uncle when you need him?

How 15 Grand Becomes a Pile of Crumbs....

...and a big, huge gooey mess.

See that sweet little girl?  She's smiling because someone who loves her (and doesn't have anything else to do with $15,000.00) bought her the Edible Gingerbread Playhouse!

This unique edible playhouse is handcrafted of 381 lbs. of gourmet gingerbread and 517 lbs. of royal icing by the expert confectioners at Dylan's Candy Bar®. The munchable manor, which stands 6.6 feet high by 5.25 feet wide by 4.1 feet deep, incorporates the best confections from the world's largest candy store in New York City. With literally thousands of signature gourmet sweets from which to choose, it is both artfully designed and decadently delicious. It includes giant cookies, lollipops, gummies, mints, gumdrops, and (of course) a candy-encrusted roof. There's also a lollipop tree inside, just for good measure.

All snark aside, one of my favorite things to do this time of year, is peruse the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book.
It's always Over. The. Top.

Don't get me started on a rant about Black Friday

However, I think those people who line up and camp out at Best Buy for days on end are C.R.A.Z.Y.  I'm just sayin'....

So, I'm working today - and I wish I had some new clogs to wear.
My Dansko's have seen better days, and I've never met a clog I didn't like.

I'm loving these Beavers clogs.

{Let's all have a chuckle on the name of this shoe:  Hairy Khaki Green....Beavers}

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving.....and if you're one of the shoppers who left the house before sun up, I hope you get a good nap today.  You crazy-ass black friday shoppers, you.

Caspari, Charlottesville

There are three Caspari stores in the world:

New York

I snapped some shots today -- they're not finished decorating for the holidays, but it is so pretty every time I walk by, I couldn't wait any longer to take pictures.

Eye candy!

I'll have to go back; I'm realizing that there are several more vignettes to show.
(I'll wait till they're finished decorating!!)   ;)

A Flower For You
